Honourable President Droupadi Murmu and Prime Minister Mr. Narendra Modi are visiting Paharpur, Rairangpur & Dandbose, in Mayurbhanj district, in state Odisha on June 19 and 20, 2026 for a two-day State-level program to attend Mohan Charan Majhi lead BJP Govt’s 2nd Anniversary.
The president and the Prime Minister are also expected to inaugurate and lay foundation stones for several important development projects in the State during the event.
Schedule Highlights
- June 19th 2026: President Murmu will arrive at Rairangpur at her home district of Mayurbhanj. She will inaugurate completed projects & lay foundation stone for new development projects.
- June 20th 2026: Prime Minister Modi arrives at Paharpur will stay for couple of hours & then proceed for grand public meeting at Dandbose near Rairangpur. Both leaders will share the stage at a massive public gathering to celebrate the success of BJP Government’s 2nd Anniversary.
Key Inaugurations & Projects
During the visit, both leaders are expected to launch and lay foundation stones for major infrastructure and welfare projects collectively for Railway, Road-National Highway, Energy, Industries, Biotechnology, Textiles, Chemicals, Tourism, Education, Health and IT etc as planned for the infrastructure and economic development & job creation of the state. Odisha Chief Minister Mr. Mohan Charan Majhi on Tuesday chaired a high-level review meeting at Lok Seva Bhawan in Bhubaneswar to assess security arrangements, public amenities, traffic, parking, logistics, Administrative preparations & flawless arrangements for the upcoming visits of the President and the Prime Minister to ensure smooth & successful conduct. The meeting was attended by Chief Secretary Anu Garg & senior officials of the state.
