Jamshedpur: Early morning showers and dense cloud cover brought a welcome change in weather across Jamshedpur and the Kolhan region on Saturday, providing relief from the sweltering heat and humidity that had gripped the area in recent days.
The rainfall also contributed to a notable fall in temperatures across several parts of Jharkhand.
According to the India Meteorological Department (IMD), Jamshedpur recorded around 2 mm of rainfall during the past 24 hours.
The city’s maximum temperature hovered around 32-33°C, which was six degrees below normal and 4 degrees lower than the previous day’s reading, reflecting the impact of rain-bearing systems active over the state.
