Hul Maha also known Rebellion Day. It is observed on June 30th every year. It recalls the historic Year 1855-56 Santal Rebellion, Fought against British colonial exploitation and Zamindari systems by Santal Leaders Sidhu, Kanhu, Chand, Bhairav, & Sisters Phulo & Jhano. It assumes to be India’s First rebellion against British Government.
Hul Maha was organized by All Santals Association-Delhi & Celebrated at Indian National Litreture Conference, Connaught Place, Delhi. Details of the program by Welcome Song, Guest Speach, Santal HUL Presentation by the individual & Guest. Organizing Committe Mr Bijay Majhi, Birsingh Majhi, Mangal Marndi, Shiba Charan Beshra, Surai Hansdah, Dr. LR Murmu, Kashunath Soren, Parau Murmu, Sneha Mardi Murmu were present & coordinated the entire event in a well organized way.
