10-June-2026( Baripada) Baskey paris ( clan ) meet which was held on last Sunday 7/06/2026, The first ever mega convention of Baskey’s around the globe was successfully concluded, Where large numbers of delegates belongs to Baskey clan from Jharkhand, West Bengal, Orissa and various metro joined in to be the parts of history in tribal santal Adivasi meet to discussed about the present status of baskey ‘s peoples, There Livelihood, Educational Upliftment, Business and Trade, Bonga Buru Traditional rituals in practice are were the main concern and spreading mutual understanding and cooperation amongst Baskey, for strengthening our entire santal society are our main motto, As in our 12 numbers of social clan (paris) Baskey s are very unique , which is known by all of us, One more important activities as per our paris is that baskey are referred as Traders, hence our main focus is to maintain the same traits marriage within the same clan is strictly prohibited in baskey paris (clan). As a distinct attitude and behaviour Baskey peoples can be acknowledge every where, our convention start with bonga buru to the hapadam, ancestral forefathers and the icons of entire santal adibasi society, particularly the Baske’s the noted icons whose potraits were garlanded are great personality such as Muniram Baskey, the close relative of guru gomkey Pandit Raghunath Murmu and without his helping hand the first Santali ol chiki press started at karandih Jamshedpur,on the name and style chandan press as Muniram was serving in London, He brought our heritage press from London ,which can be still witnessed.
